As an intellectual Historian, my research focus is American history from the 17th-19th century with emphasis on North Carolina history.
As an experienced educator, I utilize primary sources to encourage critical thinking. View a sample student lesson module on The Bill of Rights which uses document analysis and critical thinking in a comparison of primary source documents: The Bill of Rights and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen.
